How much can you earn with a referral?
Typically, a listing agent's commission ranges between 3% and 5%, and they are often happy to share a quarter or a fifth of it in exchange for a good referral. If you reach an agreement to share even just 1% of the sale proceeds—and assuming the property sells for $1 million—your earnings would amount to $10,000 gross, or $9,000 net (Willow retains 10%).
